PAPILLARY THYROID MICROCARCINOMA AND FOLLICULAR THYROID ADENOMA: IMPACT OF CLINICAL ACCOMPANIEMENT

Popis:	The aim of the study was to analyze and estimate clinical and pathological features of papillary thyroid microcarcinoma concurrent with follicular thyroid adenoma. Our findings suggest PTMC accompanied by follicular thyroid adenoma to have a less aggressive biological behavior compared to pure PTMC that might be considered in routine clinical practice. Moreover, PTMC associated with follicular thyroid adenoma may have prognostic importance for closer and long-time follow up of patients.
