Popis: The poultry industry is a rising food industry throughout the world. Poultry egg and meat are essential components of our everyday food. However, this industry is constrained by several factors, including diseases and quality poultry feed availability. The poultry farmers use different medicines, including antibiotics as prophylactic and treatment of their birds. After applying an antibiotic, a chicken or its product must not be transferred to our dining table before completing the withdrawal period. Non-scientific use of antibiotic in poultry may lead to development of antimicrobial resistance in humans. There is a complaint in the developing countries, like Bangladesh, that the industrial waste, such as leftover from the leather industry is used as a protein source in poultry feed. Any unusual feed ingredients or environmental pollution can lead to deposit heavy metal in poultry or poultry products. These poultry meats may lead to antibiotic resistance and heavy metal deposition on the human body. Much research has been done globally to understand the scenario of antibiotics and heavy metals in poultry and poultry products. The objective of the current study is to compile all these field studies to have a comprehensive report of antibiotic and heavy metal present in poultry and poultry products. Our primary objective is to understand types antibiotics and heavy metals that can be present in poultry and poultry products. The review also will try to measure pooled amount per unit of antibiotics or heavy metals in poultry and poultry feed globally, distribution, and associated risk factors of availability in poultry.
