In situ synthesis of Mg/Fe LDO/carbon nanohelix composites as absorbing materials

Popis: Mg/Fe layered double oxide (LDO)/carbon nanohelix composites were prepared by an in situ chemical vapor deposition with Mg/Fe layered double hydroxides as catalysts and ethanol as carbon sources. The as-synthesized products were characterized using an X-ray diffractometer, field emission electron microscope, transmission electron microscope, energy-dispersive spectroscope, Raman spectroscope, vibrating sample magnetometer and vector network analyzer. It was found that helical carbon nanotubes deposited on two sides of Mg/Fe LDO flakes.
