Popis: | The dynamics of the lower X state of the active molecules was found to affect significantly the operation of an XeCl laser. For this reason the saturation intensity of the active transition could vary with the experimental conditions. The output radiation spectrum obtained from a nonselective cavity could also change considerably. This change increased the relative intensity of the radiation due to 'weak' transitions in the XeCl molecule. |
