Popis: | The experiments are performed on male rats “Whistar” with initial body weight 80–100 g. The model of Triton WR-1339-induced hyperlipidemia, injected intramuscularly for 7 consecutive days was used. Lactobacillus delbruescii sub. bulgaricus 51-L under the form of standardized living culture was administered to the animals daily at breakfast with the portion of drinking water in quantity 2 ml/animal. The experiments were performed in two settings: 1. Study of the preventive effect of the living culture during the 15-day experiment with Triton-induced hyperlipidemia where the living culture was administered before the treatment with Triton. 2. Study of the therapeutic effect in 15-day and 21-day experiments where the living culture was administered in parallel with the Triton treatment. In the end of the experimental period the following parameters were studied in the blood serum of treated animals and parallel controls: total cholesterol and triglycerides, cholesterol in high-density lipoproteins (c... |
