Popis:	This article analyzes the state of foreign investment in the economy of the Russian Federation in conditions of economic, political and infectious instability. Countries investing in the Russian economy are analyzed, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on foreign investment in the Russian economy is assessed. The author identifies the problems that restrain the growth of foreign investment in the Russian economy, and considers the prospects for the development of foreign investment. A number of measures have been proposed to solve the identified problems.
