Popis: The article deals with the widespread focus of religious education on religious knowledge. This focus correlates in many cases with an understanding of Christian belief as a set of answers to human questions. Regarding to self-critical traditions in Christian theology, f. e. in the work of Nicholas of Cusa or Søren Kierkegaard, this article pleads for religious education that emerges a culture of thoughtful questions in the center of a knowledge-based school system.
