Popis: This essay represents a short reflection on the diverse attitudes that music theorists have taken to their past, illustrated with examples from the current literature using a scheme borrowed from Ian Hacking’s (2002) essay “Two Kinds of ‘New Historicism’ for Philosophers” as its conceptual frame.
