Popis: From the available literature, test methods relevant to medical glove design were reviewed and compared. These covered areas including grip, friction, dexterity, tactility, active haptic sensing and medical application. As part of the review, medical practitioners were interviewed to determine the tasks that were most affected by gloves, or required the greatest degree of dexterity or tactility. The results were used along with previous findings and preliminary testing of the methods to select the most appropriate tests for medical glove testing, to suggest modifications and to outline possible new methods.
