Popis: This report evaluates the current emergency procedures training program used for the F-15 and compares it to Boldface emergency procedures training programs. The report documents the current F-15 program--a non-Boldface program. Traditional emergency procedures, common to other USAF weapons systems featuring Boldface procedures which must be committed to memory, do not exist for the F-15. Only three rules, applicable in all emergency/abnormal situations, are specified for F-15 operations: maintain aircraft control, analyze the situation and take the proper action, and land as soon as practicable. This report evaluates an optimum emergency procedures training program for the F-15 and provides the basis for comparing the F-15 training program with Boldface training programs. The strengths and weaknesses of both approaches are noted and five conclusions are derived from this comparative analysis.
