Popis: Anisomyopia is the condition in which there is a difference in the myopic refractive errors of the two eyes. In most cases the ocular axial lengths are different in the two eyes. To elucidate clinical factors in anisomyopia, we examined refractive errors and axial length in 11 patients. Two patients had dense corneal opacity and one patient had an apparent familial history of anisomyopia. These findings show that monocular deprivation in childhood and hereditary factors are important in the etiology of anisomyopia.
