Popis:	A new multi-domain vertical-alignment liquid crystal display (MVA-LCD) is developed to achieve high transmittance, high contrast ratio and wide viewing angle. According to this design, the MVA-LCD has a high transmittance by using conventional polarizer rather than circular polarizer. Accordingly, high contrast ratio, wide viewing angle and high transmittance can be achieved for MVA-LCD simultaneously. Potential application for mobile display is emphasized.
