In present scenario, forecasting electricity load, price, wind farm power & solar PV power etc. accurately plays important role while any decision making for planning, operation, and control for the economic & efficient operation of the power system. An Economic Load Dispatch Operation is required for economic & efficient operation of the power plant. It is a used for scheduling the output of the connected generating unit of a plant to fulfil the electricity load requirement at minimum cost by satisfying all inequality and equality constraints. In this paper, firstly 24 hour ahead electricity load has been forecasted on hourly basis. Secondly, this forecasted load is used for predicting day-ahead economic load dispatch operation by using particle swarm optimization. The results show the optimum operating cost. |
