Popis: | Water is a vulnerable, finite and critical resource to sustain life and it has a specific value as a precious asset. This is clearly seen in the province of Cordoba because of its varied climate and water conditions. This province has a temperate climate with good rainfall in the pampas in the south and east, a semi-arid climate in the west and north, and natural water sources in the center and in the mountain valleys. In this situation, water performs various roles. Among other things, it generates conflicts in the realm of human relationships; in the agrarian world it is also a determining factor of land prices. With this conceptualization in mind, our objective is to analyze conflicts involving the supply and possession of water, the bureaucratic organization in charge of its management, and the regulations established in this regard, with a view to study water as a determinant of land prices and as a variable in land price fluctuations. |
