The theme of the final qualifying work: "Creation of illumination and light projection of a pedestrian crossing using renewable energy sources." The issue of road safety has always been important and relevant. And to solve this issue, various ideas are proposed, such as the projection of road signs, in particular the projection of pedestrian crossings on the roadway. This work is devoted to assessing the possibility of using renewable energy sources to create autonomous projection systems. The tasks that were solved during the study: 1. Assessment of solar and wind resources in Russia; 2. Selection of wind turbines and solar panels; 3. Collecting data on insolation and average wind speed for St. Petersburg; 4. Optimization of system parameters; 5. Analysis of the possibility of using renewable sources. Insolation and mean wind speed data were taken from the website of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. Based on these data, the optimal capacities of solar panels and wind generators, as well as the capacity of batteries, were selected. |
