Popis: In this paper an analysis of a 15MW system consisting of 6 fully rated converter (FRC) wind turbines and 2 generators connected to a 20kV external grid via a wind farm controller and capacitor bank is carried out. The study includes the power curve, variation of power generation with wind speed and fault studies during the voltage dip for three different systems of operation namely purely wind based, wind based without controller and Hybrid system of wind farm. The capability of system to sustain fault conditions (LVRT) and attain normalcy after fault period is analyzed and hence describing the reliability of system. The designing and results of the case system is done using DIgsilent Powerfactory software tool.
