| Popis: | A new method for the preparation of 2-methyl-5,6-dimethoxy-1,4-benzoquinone (Coenzyme Q0) was developed. This improved process in one step by the oxidation of 3,4,5-trimethoxytoluene to coenzyme Q0 by simple oxidation using potassium or ammonium persulfate under transition -metal free conditions. |
