Popis:	Some thoughts are presented here which deal with the strategy to be adopted for applications of different variety of computers for Instrumentation and Automatic Control keeping in view the larger concept of Distributed Control Systems, Typical application areas such as, cement industry, steel plants, power stations, ‘distributed information systems’ have been considered.
