Popis: | Facile and environmentally friendly nano-scale synthesis of two new pillared zinc and cadmium metal organic frameworks (MOFs), {[Zn(NH2-BDC)(4-bpmbp)]·2DMF}n (TMU-25) and {[Cd(NH2-BDC)(4-bpmbp)]·2DMF}n (TMU-26), (4-bpmbp = (N4E,N′4E)-N4,N′4-bis(pyridin-4-ylmethylene)-[1,1′-biphenyl]-4,4′-diamine, NH2-BDC = 2-amino-1,4-bnzenedicarboxylate, DMF = N,N′-dimethylformamide), under ultrasonic irradiation at ambient temperature and atmospheric pressure has been explored. These MOFs has been characterized by scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) and IR spectroscopy. Some parameters such as concentration of initial reagents and time effects on shape and size of nano-structured compounds TMU-25 and TMU-26 have been studied. Furthermore, the catalytic behavior of TMU-25 nano-structures toward the Knoevenagel condensation reaction was compared with its bulk form. |
