Irradiation effects of ionized hydrogen on superconducting properties of Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O thin films

Popis: Irradiation effects of H+ ions on superconducting properties of Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O (BSCCO) thin films have been investigated. As-grown films revealed the crystal structure of Bi2Sr2Ca2Cu3Ox phase. The superconducting transition around 120K was obtained by post annealing of 850°C in oxygen gas flow. The irradiation treatment of H+ ion accelerated to 250V-2kV was performed on the films before the annealing by using an ion source of the Kaufman type. For the irradiated films, an increasing of the critical current density was observed after the annealing.
