Publisher Summary This chapter provides an overview of exact programs. An exact program is realizable if there exist a network to realize it. An exact program is realizable with ordinary relays, realizable with polarized relays, realizable with ordinary and polarized relays, etc., if there are networks of such a type to realize it. The chapter also discusses certain conditions of compatibility. Any realizable program is compatible. In order that an exact program be realizable, it is sufficient for it to be compatible. Any compatible exact program can be realized by ideal ordinary relays. Any compatible exact program can be realized by ideal polarized relays. |
