| Popis: | Obesity in children and young people is a significant public health issue. It can be associated with adverse health, economic and social implications. It is argued that preventing obesity needs adaptation to a healthy lifestyle, which includes behavioral modification, reduction in sedentary behavior, changes in nutrition, managing stress and increased physical activity. Families, healthcare professionals, school nurses, policy makers, researchers, and the community share responsibilities to prevent and manage obesity in children and young people. |
