Functionalization of cyclopentanic 1,3-dicarbonyl derivatives in Eco-Compatible conditions

Popis: The 1,3-dicarbonyl derivatives have very interesting chemical properties because of their structure. They constitute a group of exceptional substrates comprising from one to seven adjacent reactive sites, alternating nucleophilic and electrophilic characters that can be modulated according to the nature of the substituents. This prompted us to study a new multicomponent methodology highlighting the specific reactivity of the α and γ positions of 1,3-dicarbonyl cyclopentanic derivatives with alkyl halides and aldehydes, under microwave or ultrasonic irradiation. The various functionalized cyclanones obtained by these new economic and ecological methodologies can be used as function distributors.
