The objectives of this research aimed to 1) develop a learning management plan for Grade 5 (Prathomsuksa 5) students for the effectiveness of the STEM activity set in accordance with the criteria at 75/75, 2) compare the learning achievement of Grade 5 students between, before and after using learning management based on STEM education, and 3) compare the analytical thinking ability of Grade 5 students before and after using learning management according to STEM education. The participants consisted of 108 students in Grade 5 at Sattahip school, the Naval Battle Area, studying in the second semester of the academic year 2019. The sample was selected by cluster random sampling of 29 participants for experimental group. The research instruments included the science learning management plans accord- ing to STEM education has suitability value was 4.53, achievement test in science subject entitled “Force in Everyday Life” with reliability of 0.82, and the test of analytical thinking ability for testing before and after learning with reliability of 0.81. The statistics used for data analysis included percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test. The research findings indicated that: 1. the efficiency of learning management plans was at 76.66 / 78.16, which showed that the learning management plans had higher efficiency than the criterion. 2. the students had higher academic achievement score in post-study than pre-study at the significant level of.01. 3. the students had a higher score of analytical thinking ability in post-study than pre-study at the significant level of.01. |
