| Popis: | The aim of this study was to explore the effects of ovariectomy and treatment with oestrogen hormone on uterus myometrium and connective tissue activity.In this study, 21 adult female Wistar-Albino were used. Animals in group 1 received no treatment.All animals in the other two groups were bilaterally ovariectomized and kept for 60 days.Animals in group 1 0.1ml of solutionA, group 2 0.1 ml solution B, group 3 1.0μg 17β oestradiol were given. All rats were sacrified and taken uterus tıssue, fixed in formol fluid and embedded in paraffin.Paraffin sections, obtained by routine histologic methods, and stained with Hematoxylen-Eozin, Hematoxylen-Van Gieson,Azan.The stained sections were later evaluated under a light microscopy.The number of uterinal glands were decrease and narrow, the appearance of stromal tissue was more loose in bilaterally ovariectomy group.As a result, after oestrogen applications coused thickening the endometrial stroma and myometrium. |
