Popis:	This article analyzes the strategies of representation of social reality through the design of the narrative space in Los mares del sur by Manuel Vázquez Montalbán (1979). To this end, the article examines the presentation of Barcelona as an urban location and topographic organization, it applies the concepts of chronotope and individual and social cognitive map, and it successively studies the places, areas of performance and discursively constructed spaces of this city.
