This paper corresponds to the partial results of the research called “The reflective practice of the professor and its correlation with professional development in the context of higher education: understandings and experiences” whose general interest focuses on understanding, from experience and theory, the critical and performative correlations between the reflexive practice of the professor and his professional development at the higher education level. From the documentary analysis emerged the categories about reflective practices and their impact on the professional development of professors. The results are based on the analysis of articles, books, book chapters, doctoral theses, and congress reports and conferences which broaden the understanding of a reflective practice and its relationship with the processes of innovation, change and improvement of teaching. |
