The research aimed to analyze the current problems of school administration of Debsirin Chiang Mai School, study the best practice of world class standard schools with the Quality Award promoted by the Office of the Basic Education Commission causing developing the Integrated Administration PDCAI+ Model for Results DSC-SMART Model of Debsirin Chiang Mai School, and study the use of processing results in Integrated Administration PDCAI+ Model for results DSC-SMART Model of Debsirin Chiang Mai School. The population in this research was the administrators and the teachers of Debsirin Chiang Mai School. The data were collected from the informants cosisting of the school directors, the deputy directors and the teachers of Chomthong School and Hot Phitthayakhom School, the school board of Debsirin Chiang Mai School, the experts of the Office of the Basic Education Commission, the director or the deputy directors of the Secondary Educational Service Area, and the school directors or the former school directors who passed the criteria of the Office of Basic Education Commission Quality Award (OBECQA). The research instruments were used to analyze the operational methods and results report based on the criteria of the OBECQA, record in small group discussion, interview in the workshop, check the relevancy, feasibility and validity of the drafted model and handbook for using the model, evaluate the results of using the model, evaluate the satisfaction with the model utilization, evaluate the success of DSC-SMART Model, and record the lesson learned. The data were analyzed by using the frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and the qualitative data analysis upon the study of documents, the focus group, the analytic induction, and the proceeding quality report. The findings revealed that 1) the analytical operational methods and results of the Quality Award promoted by the Office of the Basic Education Commission (ScQA)/ (OBECQA) report in 2017 of Debsirin Chiang Mai School came up with the mean of 317.92. The main problems included teachers, school personnel and students having unclear understanding on the Integrated Administration PDCAI+ Model for Results DSC-SMART Model of Debsirin Chiang Mai School, students, and stakeholders having various backgrounds causing the difficulty in development, students from poor families and insufficient budget resulting in the students’ low academic achievement. Moreover, most of them failed to pass the criteria which couldn’t fulfil expecting results of learning outcomes in line with the vision, identity of the school and identity of the student. 2) The Integrated Administration PDCAI+ Model for Results DSC-SMART Model of Debsirin Chiang Mai School model was composed of the principle, the objectives, the system, the mechanism, and the operational methods. The model of PDCAI+ cycle was Plan-Do-Check-Act-Integration. The results of the model assessment showed that the use of the model effectiveness was at high levels. The satisfaction and success in DSC-SMART Model were at the highest levels. The feedback represented that the results of integrated administration model of Debsirin Chiang Mai School were able to develop the students reaching their potentials in academic section and having the outstanding in Thailand Football Student Team. The number of students increased from 287 students in 2017 to 540 students in 2020. Also, the school administrators should motivate the teachers, the school personnel, the students and the stakeholders to create the learning organization with the operational plan, evaluation method, best practice and benchmarks and to assure the desirably highest efficiency and effectiveness outcomes of the achievement in the school’s vision: in 2032, Debsirin Chiang Mai School can be one of the first class schools in Chiang Mai. |
