The Vascular Accident Encephalic`s sequels cart damages in the quality of the seniors' life, hindering the accomplishment of the daily life basic activities, suggesting, in this context the caretaker, that supplies the seniors' need. This study aimed at to identify the process of taking care seniors` effects with VAE`s sequels. Considering the study subjectiveness, we opted for the approach of the Thematic Oral History, being accomplished a research of the exploratory descriptive type. The sample is constituted by ten caretakers of resident seniors in a municipal community Jequié/BA` district and those that accompany the seniors for attendance in the Physiotherapy Clinic of the State University Of the Bahia Southwest, UESB, tends as reference the Attendance Nucleus to the Health in the Aging, NASEN, in the UESB, Jequié Campus. The information were collected through the semi-structured interview technique, observing the ethical subjects that are extolled by the 196/96 resolution of the Health National Council, that treats of the research with human beings. The reports were registered through a tape recorder, being transcribed and analyzed through the technique of thematic content analysis, in way to assist the objectives. In addition it was striped the category to take care. After the analysis it was verified that the caretaker supplies, or even it substitutes the daily life activities that were accomplished by the seniors. It was also observed that most the caretakers are of the feminine sex, daughter or it wifes, and these divide the activities with their daily tasks, turning the tiresome and exhausting day by day. |
