Objective: To study the curative effect of insulin aspart combined with vitamin D therapy for gestational diabetes mellitus and its effect on umbilical blood flow resistance, adipocytokines and inflammation. Methods: A total of 104 patients diagnosed with gestational diabetes mellitus in our hospital between March 2013 and July 2016 were selected and randomly divided into two groups, VitD group received insulin aspart combined with vitamin D therapy and control group received insulin aspart therapy. 1 month after treatment, insulin resistance, umbilical artery flow parameters as well as serum content of NO, ET-1, adipocytokines and inflammatory cytokines were evaluated. Results: 1 month after treatment, HOMA-βand HOMA-IR of VitD group were significantly lower than those of control group while ISIcomp was significantly higher than that of control group, umbilical artery RI, PI and S/D levels were significantly lower than those of control group, and serum leptin, visfatin, chemerin, IL-1, IL-2, IL-3, IL-6, IL-10 and ET-1 content of VitD group were significantly lower than those of control group while adiponectin, omentin and NO content were significantly higher than those of control group. Conclusion: Insulin aspart combined with vitamin D therapy can relieve the insulin resistance, reduce the umbilical blood flow resistance and adjust the secretion of adipocytokines and inflammatory cytokines in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus. |
