Popis: | Purpose The purpose of the study is to identify the peculiarities of social innovation system’s perception of the audience of small towns. The social innovation’s system contains: municipal self-government branch, employment centers, public administration centers at universities, two branches of university education system (bachelor and master), changes of social status for people in need. The author also analyzes the "innovation" concept and the three types of perception: regulatory, detached, and deviant. Methodology The empirical basis contains survey materials (2011, Vladimir region, N – 1557). The author studied features of innovation perception at employment centers, it the new university education system, in university community councils, committees of public authorities, etc. Results The results showed no significant difference between people of remote places, regions and residents of the central region. Generally people of the Vladimir region have a detached type of innovation perception. The author also revealed differences in the perception of some social institutions. Practical implications The article provides general recommendations to improve the degree of citizen’s perception of the innovation elements. |
