| Popis: | Fournier ‘s gangrene (GF) is an infection that rapidly expands and affects the perineum, perianal region and the external genitalia. Without early treatment, based on life support, antibiotics and surgery it has a high mortality, even today. A retrospective, observational study was performed. All patients treated for GF in General Surgery third level hospital for the period between January 2002 and April 2014 were included. 23 patients are described and several variables regarding the diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of these patients were analized. |
