The effect of informal media on collective wisdom (Case-study: Iranian Presidential Election)

Popis: Informal media today is an appropriate space for the realization, strengthening or weakening of collective wisdom in a society; The purpose of this study was to identify, categorize and model the position of informal media (social networks and messengers) in the formation of collective wisdom concepts in the Iranian presidential election event; The present study was applied in terms of purpose and mixed (qualitative-quantitative) in terms of data collection. In the qualitative part, semi-structured interviews (19 interviews) and theme analysis were used as a tool to explore concepts along with the study of background literature, and in the quantitative part, a sample of 277 doctoral graduates was used to design a study model. Findings were analyzed using SPSS software version 20 and LISREL version 8.8. Finally, 11 concepts as components of collective wisdom and 10 concepts as components of threats and opportunities Informal media outlets reported on the formation of collective wisdom in the Iranian presidential election event; Criteria for spreading rumors with an impact factor (0.61) The strongest threat of informal media, freedom of expression with an impact factor (0.71) The strongest opportunity of these media in the formation of collective wisdom and collective rationality with an impact factor (0.78) Had the highest impact on the formation of collective electoral wisdom.
