| Popis: | The article is devoted to the analysis of social organizations of the serving population of South Russia in the first third of the XVII century on the basis of ancient archival materials. The guarantee records of Voronezh 1611-1632 became the main source for this work.On the basis of this important and valuable document, the author showed the different aspects of the social organization of serving people. He defines the features of their entering the service, specificity of service relationships. In the course of this work the author comes to the conclusion that the social organization of the serving population of South Russia in the first third of the XVII century reflects the regional specificity of relations between the authorities and society. Serving corporations were divided into hundreds, fifty and tens, based on a system of sureties.The same principle operated in the organization of serving villages (Sloboda) in the fortresses.This system reflects the peculiarities of the local structure of the service corporations. |
