Family education is an area of special interest for what it means for the development of subjects. For the school, the acquired and acquired learning in the family should be a text and pretext to contribute and complement the training, hence the importance for the school to know what and how it is taught in family life. The article presents part of the results of the research completed Family educational practices, an understanding from the interaction with 15 families in the city of Manizales. Its objective is to reveal the sense assigned by families to the educational practices that are deployed and experienced in their daily lives. Phenomenology was the method that allowed to approach the phenomenon narrated by the actors. The results state that families, from the everyday are educational environments that contribute to the constitution of its members. Learning is grouped in notional, practical and axiological contents achieved through mediations such as advice, example and explanation. |
