| Popis: | Hedychium siamense Picheans. & Wongsuwan, a new species from peninsular Thailand is proposed. The distribution of H. neocarneum T.L. Wu, K. Larsen & Turland, previously known only from south China, is extended to Thailand and Lao PDR. Full descriptions and illustrations of both taxa are given. Relationships with their closely related species are also discussed. |
