The effect of tillage and fertilization on yield, agronomic and morphological properties of wheat

Popis: Istraživanje je provedeno u vegetacijskoj sezoni pšenice 2020./2021. na površinama OPG a Lešić u Bošnjacima (Vukovarsko srijemska županija) u tri ponavljanja po slučajno prostornom planu. Cilj istraživanja je bio utvrditi utjecaj različitih načina osnovne obrade tla (oranje plugom i obrada gruberom) i različitih prihrana dušičnim gnojivima (KAN i ureja) na prinos i druge parametre pšenice. U istraživanju je korištena sorta pšenice Kraljica Poljoprivrednog instituta Osijek. Na pokusnoj parceli je provedena uobičajena intenzivna agrotehnika, osnovna gnojidba sa NPK 0:20:30, zaštita od korova i bolesti. Prije žetve sa svakog tretmana su uzeti uzorci sa 1 m2 u tri ponavljanja radi određivanja prinosa, hektolitarske mase, mase 1000 zrna i broja klasova po m2, broja zrna u klasu, visine stabljike, mase vlati, dužine klasa i mase klasa. Vremenske prilike tijekom vegetacije pšenice su bile uglavnom povoljne uz određena negativna odstupanja tijekom razdoblja veljača lipanj u pogledu količine oborina. Zima je bila topla i vrlo blaga, a niže prosječne temperature su zabilježene u razdoblju ožujak svibanj. Analiza varijance nije pokazala statističku značajnost niti za jedno svojstvo, osim za broj biljaka po m2. Usporedbom svih ispitivanih parametara oranje plugom i prihrana urejom i KAN om u većini slučajeva ima nešto bolje vrijednosti u usporedbi s svim ostalim tretmanima dok je obrada gruberom uz prihranu KAN om postigla lošije rezultate. S obzirom da vremenske prilike imaju najveći značaj u proizvodnji pšenice, za očekivati je drugačije rezultate u slučaju nepovoljnijih godina.
The research was conducted in the wheat-growing season 2020/2021. on the surfaces of the family farm Lešić in Bošnjaci (Vukovar-Srijem County) in three repetitions according to a random spatial plan. The aim of the study was to determine the influence of different methods of basic land cultivation (plowing and grubber processing) and different supplementation with nitrogen fertilizers (KAN and urea) on the yield and other parameters of wheat. The wheat variety Kraljica of the Agricultural Institute Osijek was used in the research. The usual intensive agrotechnics, basic fertilization with NPK 0:20:30, protection from weeds and diseases, were carried out on the experimental plot. Prior to harvest, 1 m2 samples were taken from each treatment in triplicate to determine yield, hectolitre weight, 1000 grain weight and number of spikes per m2, number of grains per spike, stem height, panicle mass, spike length and spike mass. Weather conditions during wheat vegetation were generally favorable with some negative deviations during the period February-June in terms of precipitation amount. The winter was warm and very mild, and lower average temperatures were noted between March and May. Analysis of variance did not show statistical significance for any trait, except for the number of plants per m2. By comparing all the examined parameters, plowing and supplementation with urea and KAN in most cases has slightly better values compared to all other treatments, while grubber processing with KAN supplementation achieved lower results. Given that weather conditions are of the greatest importance in wheat production, it is expected that the results will be different in the case of less favorable years.
