Popis: | Reforma d'un vehicle tot terreny per a dur a terme expedicions d'overlanding. This final degree project aims to show a traveling alternative that has gained followers in recent years. We are talking about Overlanding. Overlanding is a practice based on the expeditions that Europeans used to do on the 1950’s to Africa. This traveling technique consists in driving a 4x4 vehicle or an off roader which main goal is the trip by itself, not the destination. During this trip, sleeping, eating and living it’s done in the vehicle. For that reason, it needs some previous preparation before any expedition. This project’s main goal is to design a group of modifications and items to install to a vehicle in intention to make it capable of doing this kind of trips. For the choice of the car, two multi criterial decision methods have been used, applying a sequence of characteristics in order of importance. After reading this project, the reader will know which car to choose and how should it be equipped, comparing costs of different options and the basic equipment to use. At a practical level, a real reform has ben carried out. A Land Rover Defender 110 has been camperized and prepared for overlanding. This modification has been done with basic knowledge of electromechanics and simple tools. The installation of special parts was executed by professionals. At the end of the project, there is an inform similar to those presented to a usual ITV station for the corresponding homologation. |
