No. of bitstreams: 0 Previous issue date: 2006-10-01 Morphologic alterations of 11 cases of dogs with renal failure were characterized and classified according to the patterns established by the World Health Organization for human beings. Diffuse sclerosing glomerulonephritis was diagnosed in 82.0% of the animals and chronic interstitial nephritis in the remaining 18.0%. The types and frequencies of lesions were similar to the those noticed in the literature for chronic renal failure.
