Popis: In this paper the use of a structured-light optical scanner in the near field antenna measurement is proposed. The optical scanner, based on a very cheap hardware, is able to retrieve, with a micrometric resolution, the probe measurement position, with respect to the antenna under test reference system. Such an information can, then, be properly taken into account within the near field-far field transformation thus compensating the effects of uncontrolled misalignment errors.
