The topic’s relevance:Several years of make studies show that a significant increase poor health of school-age childrens. One of the reasons for the deteriorating health of children is associated with the environment, which in the future could affect a range of health problems. In order to improve the health of school-age children, it is necessary to find out the cause, properly to analyze them and make follow this decision to allow children to live in an environment conducive to their health. Purpose of the research:To evaluate Lithuanian general education schools 12-17 year olds children's opinion and satisfaction with the schools environment. Aims of the study/research:1) Finding out students' opinions about the school environment hygiene.2) To evaluate factors influencing the choice of travel ways to schools.3) Evaluate the factors influencing the prevalence of smoking among students. Research Methodology:according to the World Health Organization Regional Office for Europe of the environment and the health center in a standardized methodology in 2015 years in schools was make a researches of environmental health in collaboration with public health offices and WHO Representation in Lithuania. The research data collection carried out an anonymous questionnaire in writing using the WHO questionnaire, which consisted of 31 question. The study included 125 Lithuanian schools 7053 students aged 12-17. Profile data were analyzed according to gender, age, and cities. Results:The school toilets are dissatisfied 45 percent students, 45.3 percent girls and44.7 percent boys. 32 percent unhappy with washing facilities. Dissatisfaction this also affects hygiene, lack of privacy. 46 percent children go to school on foot, while cycling to school has only 1 percent students. The strongest determinant factor in the prevalence of smoking among is the students' age - 46.8 per cent every year increases the risk of taking up smoking, meanwhile non-smokers classmates and non-smokers parents makes the strongest positive influence.Discussions about the harm caused by tobacco smoking reduces the risk to start smoking more than the fact that no one smoked at home. Conclusions:According to the survey, the vast majority of students dissatisfied school toilets or washrooms, the students said that the lack of hygiene: toilet paper, soap. In order to improve the children's hygiene, it is necessary to take measures to improve the sanitary conditions in schools. Students rarely choose bike, it can be said that due to the absence of adequate conditions after the journey to take care of their hygiene.
