| Popis: | Preliminary results of the study of a microstrip mixer at X band frequencies, on an inexpensive plastic substrate realization are presented. A balanced configuration with a single schottky diode as non-linear element was studied, with an optimization of the insertion loss as a function of the local oscillator power. The extension to balanced mixer can be realized from this simple configuration. Variying the power inyected on the no linear device, we have achieved a reduction of the influence of a possible modulation present on the local oscillator |
