Popis: IN a classic report, CHARCOT and BERNARD [7] described the case of M. X…, who suffered a sudden loss of visual mental imagery and was no longer able to recognise faces and places. From Charcot’s perspective, recognition was considered as involving matching a percept to a mental image, so that this parallel impairment of recognition and imagery was unsurprising.
