Use of eremophilane sesquiterpenes as tickicides

| Popis: | [EN] The invention relates to the use of at least one eremophilane sesquiterpene of formula (I), as a tickicide, where R1 is H or OH; [1] is a simple or double bond; X is selected from the group consisting of absent, CH3, OH, OOH, and together with Z, forms an epoxide with the structure (Z-IV); and Z is selected from the group consisting of (Z-I), (Z-II), (Z-III), and together with X, forms (Z-IV), preferably sesquiterpene (I), is dehydrofuquinone, 11-hydroxyeremophil-6(7), 9(10)-dien-8-one, 7-11-epoxyeremophil-9(10)-en-8-one, or a mixture. Preferably, sesquiterpene acts on ticks of the genus Hyalomma spp. and/or Rhipicephalus spp. The invention especially relates to the use thereof for treating or preventing a disease caused by ticks to humans or animals, and to the use thereof for preventing, controlling or eliminating the presence of ticks in the surroundings in contact with an animal or a human. The invention further relates to a product comprising said sesquiterpene of formula (I). [FR] La présente invention concerne l'utilisation d'au moins un sesquiterpène érémophile représenté par la formule (I) en tant qu'agent d'élimination des tiques; dans la formule (I), R1représente H ou OH; [1] représente une liaison simple ou double; X est sélectionné dans le groupe formé par: X inexistant, CH3, OH, OOH et ensemble avec Z forme un époxyde de structure (Z-IV); et Z est sélectionné dans le groupe qui est formé par (Z-I), (Z-II), (Z-III) et ensemble avec X forme (Z-IV), de préférence le sesquiterpène (I) étant sélectionné parmi le déshydrofukinone, le 11-hydroxyérémophil-6(7), le 9(10)-dien-8-one, le 7-11-époxyérémophil-9(10)-en-8-one, ou un mélange. De préférence, le sesquiterpène est actif contre les tiques du genre Hyalomma spp. et/ou Rhipicephalus spp. On l'utilise en particulier pour traiter ou prévenir une maladie provoquée par les tiques chez l'homme et l'animal; on l'utilise également pour prévenir, éradiquer ou éliminer les tiques en cas de contact avec les animaux ou l'homme. L'invention porte également sur un produit qui renferme ledit sesquiterpène de formule (I).
