Popis:	International audience; As they move from the 'one-word' to the 'two-words' stage, children often resort to the use of fillers. These are vowels, syllables or consonantal groups, which frequently occur in pre-lexical position, i.e. before nouns or verbs. In this paper, we will focus on the use of fillers as determiners (that is in pre-noun position) by French young children. First, we will briefly present several studies in which fillers are considered to be phonological and morphological elements. Then, leaning on corpora strips (dialogues between a two-year old child and an adult), we will highlight some pragmatic and referential values fillers may take in these contexts.
