Popis: Business continuity has become increasingly important in recent years, largely due to the digitization of companies and the increasingly prevailing need for technology. According to Oxford Metrica, during the following five years, 83% of organizations will confront an emergency that will adversely affect their offer cost by 20 to 30%1. In this day and age, all day, every day administration conveyance prerequisites are putting more prominent weight on business and IT asset accessibility, making it much progressively essential to have compelling recovery plans. So in this thesis it will be explained the process of ITSCM (in general terms) and, in more depth, the one carried out in Allianz. Following this, an improvement plan will be presented focusing on the initial and the final phase of the process. It explains first of all what is the concept of ITSCM, how it works, what parts it has and what it is needed today. ITSCM stands for IT Service Continuity Management and is the set of processes that seek to control and manage the impact of interruptions to a pre-assessed acceptable level. The concept of BIA (Business Impact Analysis) is also explained as it is closely linked to the ITSCM: it is the preliminary phase that allows the identification of gaps. Next, the work focuses on Allianz Technology which is where internships were carried out thanks to which this project was developed. So the next chapter 4 will talk about its past and present. The standard procedure of continuity management will also be detailed, with its strengths and problems. In Chapter 5 the changes introduced in the process followed by Allianz and its subsequent improvements are exposed. A special emphasis is placed on the creation of a more optimized interview model (BIA) and on the sequence to follow when making the necessary reforms. Finally, some essential are carried out to determine the environmental impact of this project and its budget.
