WOS: 000416067100011 In this meta-analytical study, the effects of the variables, gender and marital status, on teachers' Burnout were tested. Within this study, a sample group of 11,651 individuals was obtained by bringing together 31 separate studies on gender-burnout, and a sample group of 5,486 individuals by bringing together 18 separate studies on marital status-burnout. The results of the analysis, obtained by applying the Russell model of effect, demonstrated that the gender affects teachers' emotional burn out, and the marital status affects their desensitization. The findings demonstrated that female teachers experience more emotional burnout than male teachers and those single teachers are exposed to desensitization more than the married ones. |
