Popis: International audience; In this article, we analyse the characteristics of a technical document which is regularly produced by engineers, called "cahier des clauses techniques particulières" (CCTP). In order to meet the writing needs of learners of French as a foreign language enrolled in an engineering school, we identify the different discourse features which constitute a CCTP and we estimate its degree of standardisation based on its formal and linguistic features, including lexical bundles. We then select the items that should be considered for teaching purposes. In the first part of this article, we present the educational context (training provided at the engineering school École des Ponts ParisTech near Paris), the missions of a civil engineer, and the required writing skills. The second part deals with discursive and lexical characteristics of CCTPs, identified with the help of two digital tools for doing discourse analysis (Tropes) and lexical analysis (Sketch Engine). According to our results, professional CCTP writers make a particular use of linguistic forms and formulas which help shape the discourse of description, explanation and technical prescription. Our analysis provides the basis for the third part which presents elements of a learning scenario for students who, later on, will have to produce a CCTP within a professional context.; Le CCTP (cahier des clauses techniques particulières) est un écrit du monde de l’ingénierie.
