| Popis: | Con el objetivo de determinar las propiedades físico-mecánicas de la Guadua Angustifolia Kunth proveniente del municipio de Guaduas-Cundinamarca, se estudiaron 13 culmos a los cuales se les realizó ensayos mecánicos de compresión paralela y perpendicular a las fibras, tensión paralela a las fibras, corte paralelo a las fibras y flexión, además de determinar su contenido de humedad y densidad básica, tomando como base la NTC 5525 “Métodos de Ensayo para Determinar las Propiedades Físicas y Mecánicas de la Guadua Angustifolia Kunth” y el documento “Validación de la Guadua Angustifolia como material estructural para diseño, por el método de esfuerzos admisibles”. Posteriormente a dichos ensayos, se les logró establecer los valores de esfuerzos admisibles y módulos de elasticidad, que son necesarios para el diseño de estructuras que utilizan como material principal estructural la Guadua Angustifolia, de acuerdo al reglamento colombiano sismo-resistente vigente NSR-10. Abstract. In order to determine the physical and mechanical properties of the Guadua Angustifolia Kunth from the municipality of Guaduas-Cundinamarca, 13 culms were tested for parallel and perpendicular to the fibers compression, tension parallel to the fibers, shear parallel to the fibers and bending, alike were determinated the moisture content and density, based on the NTC 5525 "test methods for determination of physical and mechanical properties of Guadua Angustifolia Kunth" and the document "validation of Guadua angustifolia as a structural material design, by the method of allowable stresses". Following these tests, they were able to establish the values of permissible stress and elastic modulus, which are necessary for the design of structures that use as a structural main material the Guadua Angustifolia, according to the current Colombian earthquake-resistant regulations NSR-10.
