Zidovi I presjeka imaju veliku nosivost i uz povoljno armiranje, veliku duktilnost. Reinforced walls are rigid vertical elements which acts as cantilever bearing elements. They have good geometric shape and are very effective in transmitting horizontal wind and earthquake forces. Along with the horizontal forces generated by the transmission of shear stress at the joint between the floor bearing system and the wall, there are also vertical. The walls are considerably less rigid perpendicular to their plane. Depending on the shape, we distinguish high and low walls, with I cross section and perforated reinforced concrete walls. Such walls are differentiate by reinforcement and by static calculation. Low walls are more susceptible to influence of transverse forces then the bending moment. The walls with “I” cross section have a high load-bearing capacity and, with favorable reinforcement distribution, high ductility. This work gives an overview of reinforcing and calculation of here described walls |
